The pre-facelift Jaguar X-Type (2001–2008), left and right side, sold as a pair. OEM references C2S13246XXX (left) and C2S13245XXX (right) — the XXX suffix in the original number stands for the paint code, because Jaguar sold these covers pre-painted in body colour. This replacement comes unpainted, ready for painting.

Why do X-Type headlight washer covers go missing?

The cover sits on the telescopic washer jet in the front bumper and is held only by small plastic clips. When the jet pops out, an ageing cover cracks at the clips and eventually flies off on the road or in the car wash — which is why so many X-Types drive around with one missing.
